Return to IT Group's Home Page.
Follow these steps to obtain a summary of your current qualifications / certifications
- Go to https://www.auxinfo.uscg.gov/. You do not need to log in.
- Read the privacy notification verbiage, and if you agree click on “Continue…”
- On the home page, click on “AUXDATA Cubes”.
- Click on “AUXDATA Competencies”. You will see a summary of all current competencies (qualifications) for all USCG Auxiliary members rolled up into five categories: AIR, BOAT, GENERAL, MARINE SAFETY and UNIT.
- In the top menu bar, click on “All Units”. You will see a dropdown menu that says “All Units” and “United States Coast Guard”. Click on “United States Coast Guard”.
- You will see a dropdown menu that says “LANTAREA” and “PACAREA”. LANTAREA has a second dropdown with “LANTAREA East” and “LANTAREA West”. Click on the area that corresponds with your District:
- LANTAREA East: Districts 1, 5 and 7
- LANTAREA West: Districts 8 and 9
- PACAREA: Districts 11, 13, 14 and 17
- Within your area you will see each District in a column. Click on your District. Some Districts are further sub-divided, such as Districts 5 and 8. Continue working your way through the District dropdowns until you see Sectors for your District.
- Select your Sector.
- You will see Divisions. Select your Division, and then select your Flotilla.
- Find the column with your name and click on your name. The page will display the number of current certifications you have.
- In the left hand column you will see various folders. Don’t open any folders; instead, right click on the “All Competencies” text at the top left, then click on “Nest Rows”. This will show all the specific certifications within each of the five main categories.
- If you want to eliminate the rows with zero certifications, go to the bottom menu bar and click on the symbol that looks like a double oval with a line through it (“Zero Suppression”).
- You will see what looks like an extra row for each main category, in bold, almost like a duplicate entry. To get rid of these rows, right click in any one of these bold rows, and select “Hide Selection” from the drop down menu.
Bookmarks are a convenient way to return to specific reports using your browser. Once you have completed the above query, follow these steps to bookmark your report:
- On the menu bar at the bottom of the page, click on the “File” icon, then click on “Prepare Bookmark.” (see note below)
- The complete URL address for the report will appear in either the Location or the Address box of your Web browser.
- Use the features of your Web browser to add the bookmark to the list of Web browser bookmarks or favorites. In Internet Explorer, click on the star in the upper right hand corner of the explorer navigation bar and select “Add to favorites”. The report will open in the browser and show current data.
Note - If you select “File” and nothing happens, make sure your compatibility settings allow uscg.gov. Click on the tools icon in the upper right of your browser page, select compatibility view settings, and then add uscg.gov.
