We are pleased to announce the formation of the Orlando Coast Guard Auxiliary Band.

Announcing the CGAUX Jazz Ensemble! 
-We are excited to launch a new Jazz Ensemble component of the Coast Guard Auxiliary Band! Rehearsals will follow the Saturday Concert Band sessions from 1230-1400.
We are currently seeking musicians for our Rhythm Section: Piano, Bass, Drum Set, Guitar. Winds (Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone) are also welcome -improvisation experience is preferred but not required.

 Initially, the band will perform at ceremonies supporting the US Coast Guard and the Coast Guard Auxiliary and Veterans groups in the Orlando area. Our future plans include performing concerts and at other community events in the area.

We will rehearse on the third Saturday of the month from 9:30am – 12pm, at the Elks Lodge, 12 N Primrose Drive Orlando, FL 32803

Our first performance was July 7th.

Our next performance is Sept 19 

Next Practices are:

Saturday 9/13 Concert Band 9:30AM-12PM  1 week earlier because of Dtrain

Jazz Band 12:15-2 PM

 If you just want to come by and check it out please do so. Bring a music stand and print out your music below.

For the Concert Band we are looking for trumpet, trombone, French horn, tuba players as well as woodwinds, other lower brass players and percussionists. Players must be a US citizen, at least
17 years of age or older, be able to pass a security background check, and read music.
