Our Mission
The Software Engineering Division's mission is to provide the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary with digital technologies, systems & solutions, so that it can fulfill its main mission to improve recreational boating safety & continue to act as a crucial force multiplier for sustained Coast Guard mission excellence.
Our Services
- Software Development of the many applications, systems and websites contained within the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary
- Database Development & Design of the many databases that are required to support those applications
- Escalation Support of Tier 2 & 3 System Issues for all applications, systems and websites contained within the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary
- Architectural Design and development of future U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary applications, systems and websites
- Data feed Design and Maintenance - to and from the various U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary & third party systems
- Guidance and Planning - for the various levels of leadership within the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary regarding Software Systems Design and Architecture

BC-CEA - BRANCH CHIEF - LEGACY DEVELOPMENT
The Auxiliary has a wide range of legacy systems that still need to be kept current in terms of Cyber Security, New Features, and overall Functionality & Enhancements. Preferred knowledge in PHP Development, C-Panel, HTML, Ajax, with additional knowledge in database design and the AWS infrastructure.
BC-CER - BRANCH CHIEF - TOOLS DEVELOPMENT
As with any large organization, the Auxiliary relies on third parties to provide services. One example is how Sales Force is the main platform for AUXDATA II. We have the need for developers who can create tools, data feeds, and interfaces with these third parties. Preferred knowledge in AWS, Sales Force, Google Cloud, Microsoft 365, Lambda Functions, Cognito, Mobile Development, and the opportunity to bring best practices to the Auxiliary.
