After finishing his studies Byron decided to become an entrepreneur. With his love of food and working in the food industry since he was young, he opened his own restaurant, the Glen Cove Diner, a modern 125 seat diner with a classic twist. The entrepreneurial spirit continued and Byron obtained his Real Estate Licence. During the pandemic when his restaurant was basically shuttered, he went out and became his own independent Real Estate Broker. Opening up his own firm, Hillside Realty and Development with his wife Bliss. Covering southern New York counties of Suffolk, Nassau, Westchester, Putnam and Dutches. Byron focuses on real estate development, commercial, property management and investment properties.
Byron joined the Auxiliary in 2015 becoming an Operational Auxiliarist (AUXOP). He is an Instructor, Vessel Examiner, Program Visitor Specialist and a Fingerprint Tech. He holds several positions at different levels from Flotilla up to National, all related to Public Affairs.

Joey holds a BS in emergency and disaster management from the University of North Texas and works as a paramedic for the plantation fire department. Joey also augments Air Station Miami's external affairs department as a designated air station PAO, photographer and social media manager.

Matthew joined the Auxiliary in June 2021 and is a member of Flotilla 014-01-03, in Islip, New York. He is currently pursuing his B.A. in Disaster Management, at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. Matthew holds several Auxiliary certifications, including Public Affairs Specialist III, AUXOP, Boat Crew, and Vessel Examiner and is also certified as U.S. Coast Guard Incident Command System Staff.
