Hector "Rick" Corrales, DVC-AF
Division Chief for Social Media
Rick Corrales is a military veteran, and a celebrated figure in the creative industry. Rick's journey began with his enlistment in the United States Navy with Arduous Sea Duty orders where he navigated the uncharted waters of Desert Storm deployments. After his stint in the Navy and tragic losses during 9-11, Rick's thirst for justice led him to the United States Air Force. Here, he soared to new heights as a member of the multiservice Critical Care Air Transport Team (CCATT). His dedication and prowess in the realm of healthcare caught the eye of the Surgeon General of The Air Force, placing him in a task force that would reshape medical care service training. This pivotal shift towards education propelled him into a position of leadership, handpicked to serve as the Chief of Training for the C130 Aircraft Maintenance Group at McGuire AFB, while simultaneously fueling his ambition to pursue a major in Adult Workforce Education.

Rick's journey didn't end there. In 2022, he transitioned into the Auxiliary, continuing his legacy of service by assuming the role of SO-PA for Division 23 in the Central Chesapeake Area and augmenting Team Coast Guard PA duties. Outside of his volunteering service, Rick's passions extended to the open waters and the realm of creativity. When he is not steering his boat through the waves, he is steering award-winning creatives and content development for global brands. His strategic brilliance manifests in captivating campaigns, earning him numerous national and international creative campaign awards. Rick's ability to infuse meaning and resonance into his work showcases his deep understanding of human connection and the art of storytelling.
