Welcome to the Flotilla 3-10, District 11NR Web Site
Flotilla 3-10 (Cosumnes River Area) is unfortunately disbanding. However, the US Coast Guard Auxiliary continues to operate throughout the US and its territories. We are undergoing this restructuring in order to strengthen our operations across the whole region, and all of us are looking forward to improving the safety of the boating public and protecting all our waterways for many years to come.
If you are interested in joining, the best way is to go to join.cgaux.org and fill out the form you will find there.
If you want a free, no-fault inspection of your boat’s safety gear, go to uscgboating.org and click the button that says “I want a VSC.”
If you need to contact us for anything else, you can use the form on our “Contact Us” page.
Our Brief History
The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary was established by Congress in 1939 to primarily assist the Coast Guard in promoting boating safety. It boasts nearly 36,000 members from all walks of life who receive special training so that they may be a functional part of Team Coast Guard.
Our Mission
Since its inception, The Coast Guard Auxiliary has expanded its parameters to virtually all areas in which the Coast Guard participates, except direct law enforcement and military operations.
Recreational Boating Safety - consisting of our many boating safety classes, distributing boating safety information to the public, providing free vessel safety checks, and doing safety patrols on land, water, and in the air. Support of Maritime Homeland Security and other maritime safety challenges that have emerged in recent years.
Who We Are
Since 1939, the men and women of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary have volunteered millions of hours in support of the Coast Guard and the recreational boating public.
