AUXPAT – Auxiliary Patrols Specialty course

AUXPAT, the Auxiliary Patrols Specialty course, is focused upon the complete spectrum of
operational patrol activities both on the water and in the air. This includes Safety Patrols, Search and Rescue (SAR), Regatta spectator safety control (powerboat race, sailboat race, rowing race, etc.) and Chart Updating/Aids to Navigation Patrols.

The test for this course is proctored on the NTC website and a score of 75% must be achieved to pass.

          May 29 Chapter Two (Crew Duties and Responsibilities)
          Jun 5 Chapter Three (Patrol Organization)
          Jun 12 Chapter Four  (Safety and Survival Equip.) & Five (Health Hazards to the Crew)
          Jun 19 Review (Study Questions)
