Welcome to the Flotilla 4-4, District 7 Web Site

The four job functions below are the cornerstones of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. They were established over seventy five years ago. 

If you are interested in taking one of our available public education courses, including a basic or advanced boating safety course,  you can Register for a Course.

The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary is well known for its public education courses which annually graduate some 200,000 pleasure boaters in safe boating skills and techniques and legal requirements of the operator.

The courses cover boat handling, navigation, marine engines, sailing, marine communications, and other topics related to enhancing skill and safety in recreational boating.


 There are courses for all ages from kindergarten and youths,
"Boating Fun"
 to Adult Courses 
"Boating Skills and Seamanship"  
"Weekend Navigator"  
"Personal Watercraft"  
"About Boating Safely."

IT'S THE LAW.
Anyone born on or after January 1, 1988 who operates a vessel powered by 10 horsepower or more must pass an approved boater safety course and have in his/her possession photographic identification and a boating safety education identification card issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
