Welcome to United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 27 operating on Georgia Lakes Sinclair, Oconee, Jackson, Juliette, Tobesofkee and Blackshear. Flotilla  members devote hundred of hours each year on the inland lakes of Georgia in support of the United States Coast Guard: 

  • assisting boaters in emergency situations

  • sharing boating safety tips and information

  • performing Vessel Safety Checks

  • promoting Marine Safety and Environmental Protection efforts

  • developing partnerships with marine industry dealers 

As a member, you have the opportunity to be part of the action to help save lives, increase your skills, support the Coast Guard and serve your community.  If you feel strongly about the rewards of this type of service, the Coast Guard Auxiliary is for you!  Friends, neighbors and interested members of the public are always welcome to attend our Flotilla meetings.

ON APRIL 1, 2021 A NEW FEDERAL LAW GOES INTO EFFECT THAT REQUIRES THE OPERATOR OF A BOAT WITH AN INSTALLED ENGINE CUT-OFF SWITCH (ECOS) TO USE THE ECOS LINK. FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE CLICK ON THE "BOATING SAFETY" SECTION. 

ON APRIL 20, 2022 NEW FIRE EXTINGUISHER REGULATIONS GOES INTO EFFECT. THE REGULATIONS ARE REGARDING A CHANGE WITH THE EXTINGUISHER EXPIRATION DATES AND THE MINIMUM CLASSIFICATION OF FIRE EXTINGUISHERS CARRIED ABOARD NEWER BOATS. FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE CLICK ON THE "BOATING SAFETY" SECTION.
