Boat Show 2024

Mon, 19 Feb 24

The Division 26 and our flotilla, especially, enjoyed working at a local boat show in February.  We passed out brochures and information on boating safety and spoke to many visitors interested in boating safety classes and serving in the Auxiliary!  We hope to see some of our visitors soon in class and in meetings. Photo taken by a passerby at the show.

Below pictured: Ziad Nazif (Div Commander), Beverly Butlin (Flotilla 02 Staff Officer), Mark Briggs (Flotilla 02 Commander), and David Ray (Div Vice-Commander).

2024 North Carolina and South Carolina Boating Safety Classes

The Lake Wylie Coast Guard Auxiliary - 2024 NASBLA Certified Safe Boating Course Schedule is ready for YOU!  Our Boating Safety Classes cover both North Carolina and South Carolina State Law. We have boating safety classes on the third Saturday of every month.

The United Coast Guard Auxiliary is the recreational boating safety arm of the United States Coast Guard. We perform vessel safety exams, teach safe boating classes and perform on water patrols.

Flotilla 26-02 is located on Lake Wylie in South Carolina. This lake has the distinction of passing through two states, North Carolina and South Carolina. We patrol the lake in both states.
