Flotilla 1-6 Leadership History
Auxiliary Aviation Flotilla 1-6 was chartered on November 20, 2002, at "Air Station Islip MacArthur." Peter Stauffer was the Founding Flotilla Commander, and served for two terms, after working for two years on the groundwork which led to the unit's establishment. The first Vice Flotilla Commander was Jose Diaz-Bujan.
