U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary About Boating Safely

Our history

Flotilla 6-7 is an operationally active unit of the 7Th Coast Guard District. Our Area of Operations, AOR, is Biscayne Bay, from Dumfoundling Bay on the north to Cutter Bank on the south and adjacent offshore waters. Our diverse membership spans all of Miami-Dade County. Our Flotilla was chartered in May of 1957.

What we do

Flotilla 6-7 is a multi-mission unit actively involved in support of all Coast Guard missions with the exception of law enforcement. Many of our jobs involve working directly with the Active Duty Coast Guard while others work to promote Boating Safety Education and Vessel Safety Checks.

Excellence in Operations and Marine Safety

Aux Ops

When you join the Flotilla 67 Operations and Marine Safety Team, you could find yourself saving lives, protecting the environment from polluters and guarding our shores from terrorists. We defend our maritime borders and we save those in peril at sea.

U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary About Boating Safely

Flotilla 67 is committed to boating safety

Our team of skilled instructors specialize in the About Boating Safely program. We offer monthly sessions of the About Boating Safely program. We also offer quarterly sessions of Navegando America for our Spanish speaking audience. Navegando America is the Spanish version of the About Boating Safely program.
