7030 Form Deconstructed

The 7030 webform, or Mission Activity Report, is often overlooked.  Generally, we think of "missions" as being on-the-water, and recorded in AOM.

 This is not the case.

Missions Recorded on a 7030 that apply to F59:

  • ATON Patrols
  • Entering information into AUXDATA
  • QE activity
  • CG Crew augmentation
  • Marine Safety activities (MS program)
  • Instructors teaching member training
  • Public Education hours- by course (i.e. 14A-About Boating Safely)
  • Public Affairs- incl. Speeches, Website, writing for publication and parades.
  • Recruiting- time spent DIRECTLY recruiting members into the auxiliary.

Why is this important?

Many qualifications, such as Public Affairs Specialist (PA) or  Instructor (IT), require a minimum number of hours per year.  You will only get credit for these hours if you complete a 7030.  If you put IT hours (for example) on a 7029, you will not receive any credit for it in AUXDATA.

How do I submit a 7030?

 1. Click here - Form 7030 with Instructions

 2. Either A) type information directly into the form, or B) Print out the form and write on it.  The instructions included beginning on page 2 of the form are extremely detailed and explain each box on the entire form.  Mission codes are listed on page 3.

3.  Print the form and give it to your FSO-IS, OR print to .pdf and e-mail it to the FSO-IS.
