The Northwest District Public Affairs staff is charged with increasing member
and public awareness of the Auxiliary and Team Coast Guard mission, while
promoting a positive image. We achieve that goal utilizing various internal and
external platforms, including publications, press releases, photography,
videography, broadcasting media, and social media.
It is our mission to engage and communicate with the public and stakeholder
groups. We reach the right audience, with the right message, using the
right communication tool, at the right time.
