There is no limit to one's potential if they are not afraid to continue training & learning throughout their lives, and the same can be said for emergency preparedness and disaster response training. By virtue of your membership in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary you are able to for any number of competencies and qualifications, including those in emergency management.

The following are two of the active-duty qualification in emergency management that you can train to become qualified in, should you seek to take on the challenge. These are not easy qualifications to each, but should you complete the training and qualify for one or both of these, you will be among the elite in the Coast Guard Auxiliary emergency management field.
