Welcome to Division Three  8th Coastal Region.

Spanning the Gulf Coast from Pass Christian MS to Orange Beach AL.  Division 3’s mission is to support and guide the seven flotillas that fall under its command. The Auxiliaries main mission is Recreational Boating Safety and Active Duty Coast Guard Support.   Public Education and Vessel Safety Checks is what the Auxiliary is most commonly known for.   However the Auxiliary is so much more than what meets the eye.   What you don't see is the exciting parts of being an auxiliarist.  Surface Operations, Waterway patrols, Regatta Patrols, Helicopter Rescue Exercise, Air Operations, Air Drop Exercise, Air Observer, Direct Operational Support at Coast Guard Stations, Crew augmentation aboard Coast Guard Cutters and Ships.

Being a member in the Auxiliary is more than just being a volunteer. You are part of the Non-law enforcement branch of the United States Coast Guard.  You are a Coast Guardsman in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary.  With education and qualifications the sky is the limit to participate in any active duty non-law enforcement MOS.  Whether you can participate a little or a lot the Auxiliary has place for you to serve your country.
