What We Do
Oswego Flotilla serves the local community alongside the active cuty Coast Guard in Oswego, NY, to include patrolling the waters of Lake Ontario from Sodus Point to the Eastern end of the Lake plus connecting tributaries and canals. There are opportunities in many areas such as Vessel Examiner, Boat Crew member, and Instructor positions.
The flotilla promotes boater safety in all aspects of recreational boating, even paddle craft. Members do this through boating safety classes,vessel examinations and public events.
