Upcoming Training and Events
- ALL C-SCHOOLS HAVE BEEN CANCELED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
- The required Boating Safety Course is available to our members. It will be given in several locations at various times during the year. To complete this required training contact Bob Figueroa (SO-PE)in our Division ([email protected]) and he will gladly help you to register for one of the offerings.
- AUX-18 Training in Oklahoma City HAS BEEN CANCELED. Registration is listed so submit
requests early. Submit STTR to Chuck Calabrese (FC) if you wish to attend.
- AUX 17 CLASS -- April 25th - 26th 2020 - CANCELED

- CRM Initial. AUX Crew Resource Management (AUX-17) Course Code 501573. This
course is the initial CRM training specified in references (a) and (b). All Auxiliary pilots, air
crew, and observers must attend this C-school prior to certification
in any Auxiliary aviation position. It must then be taken on a recurring basis with an interval not
to exceed five calendar years. Auxiliarists who attended this course prior to
January 1, 2017 have until the end of calendar year 2022 to complete their
first recurrent attendance. Currently certified members who have never
completed the course will have until 31 December 2019 to complete the course.
Non-aviation Coast Guard and Auxiliary personnel who routinely use aviation
assets to conduct missions are strongly encouraged to seek CRM training
opportunities. - CRM Refresher. Must be completed annually, no later than the
end of the 15th month following AUX-17 or subsequent CRM Refresher
training. Must be completed by all pilots, air crew, and observers during the
annual unit safety fly-in or other regional training event.”
We have scheduled
an AUX-17 course to be given at Air Station Cape Cod over the weekend of April
25-26. If you have never taken AUX-17 you are now In REYR status
and may not fly under orders until you complete the course. If you took the
old combined AUX-17/AUX-18 course at Pensacola you have until the end of CY
2022 to take the full AUX-17 recurrent training. Plan ahead!
