Which uniform to wear, and where to get it

Official guidance on Aux uniform issues is given at the USCGAux HR Uniform Division website. Here is more recent guidance:

What follows is a distillation of that guidance. Auxiliarists are authorized to wear Coast Guard active duty uniforms, with the appropriate Auxiliary insignia.

Specifically, what you wear depends on what you do. Check with your Flotilla Commander or a Staff Officer for the appropriate uniform for your mission/s. New members buying uniforms should read the Auxiliary Manual dated 17 AUG 2011 (c.f. Chapter 10).
