FEMA Webinars on COVID-19 Operational Guidance for Hurricane Season

FEMA is hosting webinars to expand awareness and understanding of the newly released "COVID-19 Pandemic Operational Guidance for the 2020 Hurricane Season." FEMA released this guidance to help emergency managers and public health officials best prepare for disasters while continuing to respond to and recover from the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The webinars will allow emergency managers an opportunity to discuss how the guidance can assist jurisdictions review and modify their plans given the constraints and limitations of the ongoing pandemic.

FEMA Guidance for Mass Care During a Pandemic

The Mass Care/Emergency Assistance Pandemic Planning Considerations guide provides information on sheltering, feeding, evacuation and the federal resource request process. This guidance was developed using health and safety planning information and requirements outlined by the Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

 

GUIDANCE ON THE USE OF CLOTH FACE COVERINGS-ALCOAST 124/20 UPDATE 1 ALCOAST 144/20

COVID-19 has created a dynamic worldwide situation subject to policies and procedures that can rapidly and significantly change. Additional guidance will follow as the situation evolves. Auxiliarists are strongly encouraged to use all of the websites within this ALAUX extensively to help stay fully informed.

COVID-19 Aux Activity Restriction Decision Process

"National staff is reminded we are advisory only on the on-going COVID-19. If asked for direction on District, Division, Flotilla decisions please refer to their respective District COLM. Ultimately each USCG District Admiral and CGAUX District Commodre makes final decisions based on the current situation and CG District needs.
