United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 7-3


Introduction
The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, is a non-paid all-volunteer branch of the United States Coast Guard. The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary was established by Congress in 1939 under title 14, §§23 of the U.S. Code. The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary operates in 
        -  Safety and Security Patrols
        -  Search and Rescue
        -  Mass Casualty or Disasters
        -  Pollution Response & Patrols
        -  Homeland Security
        -  Recreational Boating Safety
        -  Commercial Fishing and Vessel Exams
        -  Platforms for Boarding Parties
        -  Recruit for all service in the Coast Guar
In addition to the above, the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary operates in any mission as directed by the Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard or Secretary of Homeland Security. 


Our Mission
       -  To promote and improve Recreational Boating Safety.
       -  To provide trained crews and facilities to augment the Coast
       -  Guard and enhance safety and security of our ports, waterways, and coastal regions.
       -  To support Coast Guard operational, administrative, and logistical Requirements. The United    
           States Coast Guard Auxiliary is Semper Paratus (Always Ready)

Flotilla Information
The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary 11th Northern District, Division 7, Flotilla 3 (73) is located at Utah Lake State Park in Provo, UT (4400 Center St, Provo, UT 8460) 

Flotilla 7-3 or Wasatch, works closely with the surrounding communities as well as local and state agencies promoting boating safety, public education programs, courtesy vessel safety checks, marine environmental protection, safety patrols and assisting local law enforcement with search and rescue missions. Flotilla 7-3 supports Utah Lake, Deer Creek, Strawberry Reservoir and other bodies of water within the state of Utah as needed.
