  One Team Pulling TogetherThe Allegheny, Monongahela & Ohio Rivers

Division 7 is located in the Port of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with an area of responsibility covering 348 navigable river miles on the Ohio, Allegheny, and Monongahela Rivers. We are an all-volunteer civilian organization that assists the United States Coast Guard in all missions with the exception of law enforcement and military action. The Auxiliary serves the needs of the recreational boating public in the areas of public education, vessel safety inspections, and safety patrols using surface vessels and in post 911 take an active part in the Waterways Awareness initiative. 

"Who We Are: The Coast Guard Auxiliary is an organization of approximately 30,000 volunteers who donate their time and their facilities (boats, aircraft and radios) to assist the U.S. Coast Guard as authorized by the Commandant in performing any Coast Guard function, power, duty, role, mission or operation authorized by law. The Auxiliary’s role does not extend to any Coast Guard military or direct... law enforcement missions. The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary was established by an Act of Congress composed of citizens of the United States and its territories and possessions."

Division 7 meets the fourth Monday of the month at Marine Safety Unit Pittsburgh located in Bridgeville, PA.  New members are always welcome.
