Flotilla 5-1 of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary is located in Western Hills, and serves the greater Cincinnati area boating public through surface operations on the Ohio River and surrounding lakes and waterways as well as boating education classes, and vessel safety checks.

We provide boating safety support to major events on the Ohio River such as Riverfest, Paddlefest, WEBN fireworks, and American River Roots to support our active duty partners with Marine Safety Detachment Cincinnati.

If you have a passion for boating (whether you own one or not), and would like to increase your boating knowledge, serve your country and fellow boaters, and support the missions of the U.S. Coast Guard, then the Coast Guard Auxiliary is for you!
