Boating Safety Information

As a boat operator, you're expected to make sure your vessel carries the required safety equipment (carriage requirement) and is in compliance with the federal and state regulations.

Additionally, you are required to operate your vessel in a safe and responsible manner and in compliance with all applicable laws.

The Coast Guard Auxiliary is dedicated to recreational boating safety. To that end, we offer boating safety classes and free Vessel Safety Checks to ensure you are in compliance with the law and, most importantly, to make sure your next boating trip is a safe one. Use the menu on the left hand side of the screen to view our various programs. Additionally, the following links will prove helpful.
