Flotilla Goals for 2017

Description of Tabs

  1. Goals tab is the list of goals each member submitted to the FSO-SR. Note that there is a column to track the completion percentage of each goal.
  2. The Members tab lists all members of our flotilla. If anything on this tab is incorrect, you need to go to the AUXDIRECTORY to update the information. Let FSO-SR Delia Johnson know that you have made a change and she will download the updated information.
  3. The Numbers tab will give summaries of goals by area and how the flotilla is doing in completing their goals.
  4. The Staff Officers tab is a list of 25-08's officers. (This information, too, came from AUXDIRECTORY.)

Process for Setting Flotilla Goals

During the January 19, 2017 workshop, Woodrow Johnson, our Flotilla Commander, issued a homework assignment to all participants: Develop 1 to 3 personal Auxiliary goals for 2017. For each goal, specify the position to which it most closely relates.

FSO'S and committee chair's were also asked to develop 1 to 3 goals for their leadership position.

We have been asked to create goals because otherwise, how will we know whether or not we (as individuals or as a flotilla) are successful this year?

It is through the creation and monitoring of goals. Through goals, we know where to spend our time. Through goals, we can measure success.

You volunteered and joined the Auxiliary. Why did you join? What do you hope to accomplish? Are you successful? Your personal goal might be big (complete the boat crew program), or it might be small (attend one workshop). Developing goals and sharing them with the flotilla will have two primary effects:

  1. First, you will be more likely to spend your time productively in the Auxiliary this year.
  2. Second, Flotilla leaders will be more likely to design programs and provide opportunities that will help you accomplish your goals this year.
