Safety Patrols

Join us and become a boat crew member or coxswain. We offer you free training in the classroom and on the water. We work closely with the Coast Guard Station in Emerald Isle.

Our flotilla performs several patrols each week during boating season. Our patrols are on the Intracoastal Waterway, Bogue Sound and Bogue Inlet and other waterways looking for stranded boaters, educating the public on boating safety, checking aids to navigation for damage, training new Auxiliary boat crew.  In addition, we do joint training with the Coast Guard and may be assigned special missions for them.
