What Exactly do the members of Flotilla 1808 do? 
You may be surprised to learn we do:

Safety patrols and Search and Rescue response on the Delaware River and areas at the Jersey shore

Helo-Ops, in which highly trained Auxiliary members assist Coast Guard helicopter pilots and Rescue Swimmers as they train over Delaware Bay and the ocean.

Radio communications support for selected Coast Guard stations

Meal preparation for Coast Guard bases and selected vessels

Providing the boating safety course required for vessel operators by New Jersey Marine Police

Free safety inspections for pleasure craft
