Boating Safety Classes for 2024
NYS Safe Boating Course Registration and Payment
Individuals 10 or older may take this course but who is required to take this course?
Brianna's law - All powerboat operators:
If born after Jan 1 1978 you need certificate by Jan 2024
ALL MUST complete the training by Jan 2025
All personal watercraft operators (PWC) must successfully complete an approved boating safety course before they can operate a PWC on any waters of New York. All PWC operators must be a minimum of 14 years old - no one under the age of 14 may operate a PWC.
Boating Safety Classes taught by US Coast Guard certified instructors:
Three dates:
When: Sat April 13th 9:30am - 5:00 pm
Sat May 11th 9:30am - 5:00 pm
Sat June 15th 9:30am - 5:00 pm
Attendee Registration & Payment - Fee is 30$:
Please, complete this form one-time for your entire group,
listing each individuals name everyone's name, as you wish it to appear
on the certificate, where indicated.
