Flotilla 77, Fairfield, Connecticut

Flotilla 77 is based at South Benson Marina, near Penfield Beach in Fairfield, Connecticut. We can see this historic lighthouse from our Flotilla base. It is also a boater's landmark that should be thoroughly charted because of the low tides and rock formations called “The Cows.”

We provide the public opportunities to earn a Connecticut Safe Boating Certificate by offering classes from spring to fall each year. The certificate is required to operate most vessels in Connecticut waters.

We invite you to join our monthly Flotilla meetings. A wealth of information can be learned as staff officers give their respective reports. Boating information, patrols, search and rescue, communications, public affairs, aids to navigation and more are discussed.

We usually meet the second Tuesday of every month at 7:30 p.m. (1930 hours).
Welcome aboard!
