Core Training
The first six courses are required for new members in order to reach "BQ" status (Basic Qualification). The first five shown below must be taken every five years after initial completion.
Sexual Assault, Prevention and Recovery,
Security Fundamentals,
Privacy at DHS/Protecting Personal Information,
Sexual Harassment Prevention,
Civil Rights Awareness,
The sixth course, "Ethics/Personal Gifts" only needs to be taken once during your Coast Guard
Auxiliary career.
The two FEMA ICS courses are only required for elected and appointed positions and to hold some operational qualifications.
