Welcome to Flotilla 11-2

Flotilla Commander Jeff Thomas and Vice Flotilla Commander Russ Gasdia

Welcome to Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 11-2, Woods Hole.  We are composed of approximately 42 members who live on Upper Cape Cod.

Our Flotilla is fortunate in having U.S.C.G. small boat stations Woods Hole, Menemsha, and Cape Cod Canal, Air Station Cape Cod and Sector SENE (South Eastern New England) close by. This allows members an opportunity to stand gate or radio watches, perform administrative duties and to take advantage of training with the Coast Guard active duty personnel. During boating season, members patrol area waters for the Coast Guard both on the water and in the air, assisting in public safety missions and search and rescue. Several members are also qualified to serve as crew aboard the active duty Coast Guard boats.
Our Flotilla meets every third Tuesday at the Falmouth Public Library Bay Meeting Room beginning with a social gathering at 6:30 p.m., a meeting at 7:00, usually followed by a program.  We welcome all who are interested in promoting boating safety and assisting the Coast Guard in nearly all mission areas.
