Pres Biden and Dr. Biden in Nantucket

President Biden and Dr Biden visited Nantucket last Thanksgiving season. They visited USCG Station Brant Point to thank the station for assisting in the protection of the President. Flotilla Commander McMorrow met with the President. Flotilla 11-07 assisted the Station in patrolling the waters while the Station was provided presidential protection from the waters.

Members of 11-01 on 36500 boat from The Finest Hours 

Some of the members of Flotilla 11-01 (Chatham) went on patrol on the CG36500. The 36500 was the vessel that participated in the “Finest Hour” rescue of the Freighter Pendleton. The Disney film was based on this recue considered the greatest small vessel rescue by the US Coast Guard.
