The Coast Guard Auxiliary is the uniformed, all-volunteer, civilian component of the United States Coast Guard; a multi-mission maritime service and one of the Nation’s five Armed Services.

With the exception of direct law enforcement and military action, the Auxiliary works alongside the Coast Guard and Coast Guard Reserve. We are SEMPER PARATUS - always ready - to serve and protect our waterways, to provide safe boating environments through public boating and safety education, vessel safety checks and on-the-water patrol. We are here to assist and support the United States Coast Guard with their training efforts and duties.

While we can be found in every part of the United States, Division 11 proudly serves our country in the following areas: Cape Cod, Woods Hole, Nauset, Nantucket (USCG STA Brant Point), Oyster Harbor (USCG STA Cape Cod Canal), and Martha's Vineyard (USCG STA Menemsha).

We cordially invite you to explore our website to learn more about the USCG Auxiliary and our activities. If you would like more information on becoming a member of Team Coast Guard, please contact us HERE

Our Mission
The mission of the Auxiliary is to protect the public, the environment, and U.S. economic interests - in the Nation’s ports and waterways, along the coast, on international waters, or in any maritime region as required to support national security in a non-military role and non-direct law enforcement role.
