USCGA Scholars Program Appointment
Taking part in the USCGA Scholars Program, Jim Cortes poses with a student appointment from Bandys High School in Catawba on May 8, 2024. The young man will attend NAPS for one year prior to full admission to USCGA. Each year the academy accepts 70-100 CGAS Preparatory students. They will be the first selected the following year after completion of prep school requirements. Semper Peratus!

Flotilla Meeting 11 February 2023
On 11 February 2023, 26-07 held a flotilla monthly meeting lead by Flotilla Commander Don Murray. Instruction on how to wear your uniform properly was held immediately after the meeting. Mike Bales was recognized for his commitment to the Auxiliary. Jim Cortes provided the training of proper uniform wearing with the assistance of Top Pettigrew and Mike Mize.
2023 Change of Watch
Flotilla 26-07 held its Change of Watch for the upcoming year on 10 December 2022. Members had a great time and camaraderie. Special thank you to Scott Wigginton DCDR for attending. Thank you to Foothills Brewery for their hospitality!

Congratulations to Don Murray and Jim Monroe. Don was voted to continue as our Flotilla Commander for 2023. Jim Monroe was elected to serve as our 2023 Vice Flotilla Commander. The election took place at our regular flotilla meeting on 12 November 2022. Thank you for your leadership and service!
