“On February 18, 2025, ACS Chaplain Phill Poole officiated a Burial at Sea for Auxiliarist Anthony Cleon Persson, four miles off the coast of Georgetown, SC at the Georgetown Sea Bouy, aboard RB-M 45722. Underway to honor Auxiliarist Persson that day were members of his USCG/Auxiliary family; Auxiliarist Persson had no remaining biological family members. Crew: BM3 Tracy (Coxswain), BM2 Maynard, MK2 Holmes, BM3 Wolgemuth, Sector Charleston Chaplain Yi, VFC Flotilla 070-12-10 Auxiliarist Margolis and Auxiliarist Unger.”
