Local Benefits
As the only substantial military facility left in King County, Coast Guard Base Seattle also provides key support to over 30,000 local military retirees & family members from all of the armed services.
- Access to Base Seattle for parking during certain events as well as the following services:
- Base Exchange and Barbershop. Enables you to purchase uniforms, electronics, games and other items tax free. (Auxiliary members are NOT allowed to purchase alcohol)
- Cutterman's dining facility (Galley)
- Base Learning Center Provides training, education and career development.
- Base MWR/Gym Purchase reduced cost tickets for movie theaters and other local activities. Contains a gym with weight and cardio equipment, saunas, basketball and racquetball courts.

- Armed Forces Vacation Club (AFVC) Space available resort condos around the world for just $299 per week. Sector Puget Sound is Installation #307. Using this number when making a reservation will insure that the MWR program receives a rebate of $28.11 from AFVC each time this benefit is used.
