Welcome to the Flotilla 1-4, District 11SR Web Site

  San Diego Harbor

Congratulations, you have discovered Flotilla San Diego, unit number 114-01-04, a U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary organization. What separates Flotilla 01-04 from others is the fact that we are the longest-serving Flotilla in San Diego, commissioned in 1954. We continue to serve as a force-multiplier for Sector San Diego, both on-the-water and land functions. Our various staff positions offer each member a diverse set of choices of activities and training.

The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary (USCG Aux) is the volunteer component of the United States Coast Guard (USCG). Congress established the USCG Auxiliary on June 23, 1939, as the United States Coast Guard Reserve. On February 19, 1941, it was re-designated the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. The Auxiliary exists to support all USCG missions except roles that require "direct" law enforcement or military engagement.

Whatever your interests or life skills, chances are that you will find a rewarding area of service in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. This service will enrich your life in ways you may not have imagined. The time commitment is flexible and is based solely on your availability and interest. If you are searching for adventure, and a way to serve your nation, consider joining the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary – AMERICA’S VOLUNTEER LIFESAVERS.

For meeting information, please select “Unit Announcement” in left menu. You are warmly invited to join us in our support of the United States Coast Guard and the community of San Diego.
