Ted Dyson’s summary
1) Background. Not much new here. But there are a couple of web links that I have put in the link compendium.
2) Guidance.- Work with your OIA to assure the risk vs gain is appropriate before undertaking ANY assignment. Use proper risk management techniques prior to and during any activities
- Our OIA is the best source for guidance regarding assignment to duty. Follow their guidance
- Do NOT contact DIRAUX directly. Use your chain of leadership and management (COLM)
- If an incident management team is stood up, make your COLM aware of your availability.
- Follow CDC recommendations and personal Health provider guidance for preventing exposure and actions if exposed and/or sick.
- Foreign Travel; In a word: DON’T. If you absolutely have to and then follow CDC and Department of State and USCG processes for leaving and returning
