Flotilla 9-6 has been working hard to prepare for this year's National Safe Boat Week with planned exhibits with our retail partners, boating safety classes, vessel exams and the special public Open House for the new Coast Guard Station Fort Myers Beach.

Here is our full list of safety-promoting activities for the coming week.  Vessel Safety checks are available for free on a first-come basis, click on the map link for exact locations. Training courses must be registered in advance and confirmed, click on the course for a description of the material and and any fees. Our members will be out posting "WEAR IT" signs at local boat ramps, exhibiting our mobile Communications Command Center at area locations, and patrolling the area from the skies all in the name of ensuring your safe fun on the water.  We invite you to participate and don't forget to stop and say "thanks for your service."
