“BOAT AMERICA”

The local recreational boating community can participate and enjoy our 2024 BOAT AMERICA classes. Here are the dates so share them with friends, family, and those in our area. Boating safety is the message, and it is important as there is nothing more important than your safety!

Our key objectives are to teach Recreational Boating Safety for the USCG. Rules; safety tips; terms; communication; lookouts; navigation and other important topics!

Overview:

A one-day class USCG approved safe boating course that includes a review and test, so you can obtain your Florida issued BOATING SAFETY EDUCATION I.D. CARD*. The classes are on Saturday from 8:00-4:00pm at the River Center in Jupiter, Florida.

There are no December classes.

THE TOTAL COST FOR THE “BOAT AMERICA” COURSE WILL GENEROUSLY BE PAID BY A GRANT FROM THE AUSTINBLU FOUNDATION. FOR MORE INFO VISIT www.austinblufoundation.org

A $10 COURSE REGISTRATION FEE FOR EACH STUDENT WILL BE PAID IN ADVANCE TO THE RIVER CENTER AT TIME OF REGISTRATION

*Any person born on or after January 1, 1988, must have a Florida Boating Safety Education ID Card and photographic ID to operate a vessel powered by a motor of 10-horsepower or more. To obtain the safety card, operators must complete a boater education course approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA).
