Note: Shoes from non-Coast Guard sources are generally acceptable if they meet the following criteria.
The
men's dress shoe is made of smooth black leather of the lace-up plain
oxford style. The heels are no higher than one inch, and the shoe is a
low cut plain style without decoration. There is no stitching or seams
across the toe. The sole edges, heels, and laces are the same color as
the shoe.
