TCT Annual Course Renewal
Annual renewal of your Risk Management/Team Coordination Training(TCT) is required for those competencies considered to be Operational in nature such as an UPV Examiner, Boat Crew, Coxswain, PWC Operator, Comms Operator, and others. (A complete list of these competencies can be found in BSX Policy Letter 19-01, page 5, Section 2.)
This renewal course is to be taken to to maintain your annual currency. (Completed every 15 months afterwards, annually + 3 month grace period. TCT requirements can be found on Page 2, section 7.b.1 of the BSX Policy Letter 19-01).
If you are unsure of your current status, you can run the TCT Expiration Status Report from AD2(requires to log into AD2). The Expiration Date shown in the report includes the 3 month grace period, so classes should be taken well before then.
This course is a proctored class either taken virtually or in person. While classes are scheduled regularly and must be registered for, it is recommended that you do not wait until you enter your grace period as if you do a class may not be available intimate and you will go REYR(Yearly Requirements Not Met).
You can find the TCT class schedule on the D11S Calendar. As this is a proctored class, the instructor will ensure your completion is recorded in AuxData2, so there is no need for you to send anything to the FSO-IS upon completion.
