Wear the Coast Guard Auxiliary Uniform correctly and proudly!
As the volunteer, uniformed branch of the U.S. Coast Guard, we are perceived by the public as Coast Guard personnel. The U.S. Coast Guard expects us to know how to wear the uniform correctly. Whenever an Auxiliarist is conducting a Vessel Safety Check, teaching a public education class, manning a booth at a boat show or on patrol, we are a part of Team Coast Guard.
Regulations change over time. What was approved a few years ago, may no longer be authorized. As a result, it is important for all members to stay up-to-date on current uniform regulations and to comply with them at all times.
