One of the missions that the Auxiliary conducts are surface operations. Using member-owned boats, we have members who are qualified in boat crew roles such as Coxswain and Crew. We conduct routine safety patrols, we can conduct search & rescue missions, and we conduct ongoing training with other Auxiliary boats, as well as active duty Coast Guard boats from Station Woods Hole.
