Monthly Member Training Schedule

Monthly Member Training (hosted by Flotilla 11-05) begins on 21SEPT2024 with the Boating Safety Course and ending on 19APR2024 with Annual Workshops. This training schedule will incorporate required courses/workshops
in order to assist members in maintaining current qualification status.
Training completion will be recorded by the Lead Instructor of each class in the student’s AUXDATA II record for training credit.
Classroom location: East Precinct - Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, 936 E Trinity Ln, Nashville, TN
Date/Time: Third Saturdays during SEP 2024-APR 2025
(0800 – 1500 hrs.)
The following Member Training dates and classes are currently scheduled:
21SEP2024: Boating Safety Course
Note: Primarily for members in AP or IQ status requiring the Boating Safety Course to move from AP or IQ status to BQ (Basically Qualified) status. The training may also be used as a Boat America content refresher for Public Education (PE) Instructors.
19OCT2024: Auxiliary Core Training-Classroom (Refresher Only)
Note: For members needing 5-year AUXCT recertification only, i.e. AX, BQ, IQ status members. This
training is NOT initial AUXCT for members in AP status. AP status members need to complete the AUXCT courses in addition to BQC II to meet Core Certification.
16NOV2024: Auxiliary Flotilla Leadership Course (AFLC)
Note: This is the resident classroom version taught by a Leadership Instructor.
Special Instructions: Flotilla Commanders provide a list of those members who will be attending the Auxiliary Flotilla Leadership Course to the Randy Ventress, Lead Instructor.
01-31DEC2024: No training scheduled
Note: Historically a low turnout due to weather and Change of Watch attendance.
18JAN2025: Staff Officer Training
Note: This training is intended for appointed and elected officers. Non-officers may attend for
additional training/future knowledge.
15FEB2025: Annual RM/TCT and Operations Workshop
Note: Annual training requirement for AV-PQS, BCM, COX, TCO, and UPV qualifications (Div 11) and trainees. Prerequisite training completion (recorded in AUXDATA II): Introduction to Risk Management.
15MAR2025: Boat Crew Classroom Training
Note: All trainees must bring a printed copy of the Boat Crewmember Qualification Tasks from the Auxiliary Boat Crew Qualification Handbook. Prerequisite training completion (recorded in AUXDATA II): Introduction to Risk Management, FEMA IS-100 (Intro to ICS) and FEMA IS-700 (Intro to NIMS).
19APR2025: Annual Workshops
Note: Annual Workshops must be completed by program competency holders to avoid going into REWK/REYR status. Planned Workshops: Instructor, Vessel Examiner, Communications, Program Visitor, and Diversity.
