More than 23 million Americans participate in paddlecraft activities. The popularity of this sport has grown rapidly in recent years. But, along with the growing popularity, there has also been an unfortunate increase in the number of paddlecraft-related accidents, injuries, and fatalities.

To help reduce your chances of becoming a statistic, the Coast Guard Auxiliary, Flotilla 95, on Marco Island, is offering a Paddlecraft Safety Training Course. This course will be taught by a USCG Certified Instructor who has over 30 years of Canoe and Kayak experience both in the 10,000 Islands and the Pacific Northwest.
