Flotilla 43-4 has responsibility for the lakes of the Madison, WI, area:
- Mendota
- Monona
- Mud
- Waubesa
- Kegonsa
- Yahara River connecting these lakes
- These are Wisconsin sole state waters. Law enforcement of these waters resides with the Dane County Sheriff and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
Our mission orders are issued by Coast Guard Sector Lake Michigan, and our communications guard is with Coast Guard Station Milwaukee via our own local radio guard.
