Boating Safety Classes

U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary boating courses provide instruction to boaters at all levels, from the fundamental to the advanced. Our classes are taught by experienced and knowledgeable instructors committed to the highest standards of the U.S. Coast Guard.

Georgia: Anyone born after January, 1st, 1998 is required to take a boater safety course.

South Carolina: Boater Education is required in the state of South Carolina for any person who is less than 16 years of age who wishes to operate a boat or PWC powered by a motor of 15 hp or more, if they are not supervised by an adult who is at least 18 years of age.
