Flotillas with ideal candidates that may feel uncomfortable writing the award package may want to consider enlisting the aid of a committee. Or, if the flotilla, division, or district has an award writing cadre, provide them with all the information gathered and ask for help organizing it properly. Similarly, the DSO-PE may need or want to enhance the package with appropriate material or information. 

To that end, this nominations page contains the submission packages of the previous national award winners from prior years. Flotillas and DSOs-PE may want to refer to these as models of factual, persuasive, and effective submission packages.
