Subject: Mission Code 22B as Patrol Type
Good afternoon,
I need some help. There are still a ton of people using patrol type 22B for boat and air patrols. Per the ANSC-7030 form, 22B is only to be used for radio or unit missions. The description for 22B missions on the 7030 states clearly that this is for hours NOT spent underway on surface/air operations.....
Can we please pass the word to our facility operators that they review the 7030 so they know what codes they should be using when selecting the Patrol Type field on the Patrol Request? Thank you.
I'll be asking for a validation rule that prevents use of that code if record type = boat or aircraft.
