Mr.
Ray is a veteran of the U.S Coast Guard active duty and reserves. His
time spent on duty includes aviation and small boat operations.
He has served as the Flotilla Commander and is currently serving as the Vice Flotilla Commander.
He is active in the Auxiliary Surface Operations program.
Mr. Ray is a registered nurse and serves his community through healthcare markets. He enjoys being a musician and furthering goals in the sciences and law.

Mr. Knight joined the auxiliary in 2003 looking for a way to serve his community. He grew up in West Jefferson County and spent lots of summers and weekends on the banks and waters of the Black Warrior River.
Since joining the auxiliary he has served as Flotilla Commander for two years and Vice Flotilla Commander for six years.
He is a qualified Auxiliary Instructor and serves in the role teaching boater safety classes to the public and also conducts member training for other auxiliary members.
Mr. Knight works as an Instructor of Computer Science at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Alabama.
